After a spirited conversation in 2014, surrounded by the crisp mountain air of Denver, Colorado, lifelong friends Austin Adamson and Eric Strom had their first whiskey fueled conversation which led to the founding of Ballmer Peak Distillery which opened five years later in November of 2019.
