ANGEL’S ENVY is a Louisville-based craft distiller that produces finished whiskeys. Co-founded in 2010 by the late Master Distiller Lincoln Henderson and his son Wes Henderson, it began as a passion project that combined their family’s deep-rooted passion for and knowledge of the industry with an innovative outlook on bourbon making and finishing. Today, the ANGEL’S ENVY team continues to produce its award-winning core offerings – a Kentucky Straight Bourbon Finished in Port Wine Barrels and a Rye Whiskey Finished in Caribbean Rum Casks – as well as a variety of innovative, special releases.
ANGEL’S ENVY opened the doors to its Brand Home, the first full-production whiskey distillery in downtown Louisville, in 2016.
Built in 2017 and open to visitors in 2019, Bulleit Distilling Co. leads the industry with its state-of-the-art technology and offers a portfolio distilled and aged in the Bulleit family tradition, using a distinctive high-rye recipe which gives our whiskeys a bold, spicy taste.
Originally opened on Derby Day in 1935 and reopened to the public in 2014, the Stitzel-Weller Distillery is one of the true cathedrals of the American whiskey industry. The Stitzel-Weller Experience is one of the most convenient and impressive stops along the Kentucky Bourbon Trail®. Stitzel-Weller focuses on Blade and Bow, I.W. Harper, Orphan Barrel bourbons and other North American Whiskey innovations from Diageo. Guest experiences include tours, historic behind-the-scenes access, tastings and mixology classes. In 2021, the Garden & Gun Club opened at the distillery. The destination cocktail bar, inspired by Garden & Gun Magazine’s hospitality franchise, is located on the second floor of the Stitzel-Weller Distillery offering a unique food and drink experience along the Kentucky Bourbon Trail®.
Since it was established in 1940, the Wild Turkey brand has remained one of the most iconic names in bourbon. Helmed by the legendary father-and-son Master Distilling team of Jimmy and Eddie Russell, who have nearly 100 years of combined distilling experience, the Wild Turkey Distilling Co. has been making bourbon the same way for over 80 years. The brand’s stunning homeplace, the Wild Turkey Distillery, is located in Lawrenceburg, Kentucky, atop a deep limestone shelf situated along the Kentucky River. The shelf acts as a natural filter and provides the distillery with mineral-rich water, vital to making such a high-quality whiskey as it’s iconic 101 proof bourbon.
